Your Birth Chart is not just a road map – it’s also a treasure map. Your Astrological Birth Chart is an unending source of information about you. From how to access wealth to great romance to deep, ancestral wounds and incredible super powers.
One of those super powers is the thing known as the “Spiritual Gift.” That’s a broad term for ways we connect to Spirit, God, Source or the Universe. There are many ways to connect and each of us have multiple ways. We also make the gifts our own by developing methods of working with the gifts. For example, Channeling is a gift that can show up as Scrying, stream of consciousness thought, automatic writing, or downloads that come out of the blue.
My goal here is to help you look at your Astrological Birth Chart as a treasure map and use these bits of information to unlock your own path to Spirit. You may see yourself in these precious gems I have uncovered in the hundreds of birth charts I’ve looked at over the years – and you may have a unique placement that you’ve uncovered that shows Spirit is connected to you in a special way (I’d love to hear about it, by the way….if you have seen your own indicator of Spiritual Gift in your birth chart, pass it along to me via the website).
Anyway, here are the main indicators of Spiritual Gifts you can see in your Birth Chart – how you develop them can be as endless as your imagination:
- South Node conjunct Jupiter: since Jupiter is *wisdom* and South Node is all about our past lives, most people with strong clairvoyance, clairaudience, Clair cognizance or clairsentience may see this in their chart. Actually, this placement shows a much deeper level of Spiritual Gift than the *clairs* — this is likely a person who was a Medicine Man or Woman in their tribe or an Oracle coming back to continue their mission.
- The interaction of the Moon and the Lunar Nodes (both North and South Node). This indicates a level of Spiritual guidance that may be connected to the Ascended Masters or one of the Arch Angels. Someone with this placement may have felt the presence of these Divine helpers since childhood – bonus points (additional strength) if Jupiter is also involved. Even MORE bonus points if this combination falls in the 4th, 8th or 12th House – the Houses of Spirit – or the 5th (childhood connection) or 9th (this house indicates you may use your gifts to further mankind’s wisdom by teaching via a Spiritual Gift).
- If any of the Outer (or Spiritual) planets are connected to the Lunar Nodes – especially via conjunction – that adds a layer of a *generational Spiritual leader or healer* and indicates your work here will impact a great many souls.
- I have also seen a lot of charts that indicate this type of Spiritual leadership be connected (conjunction, square or oppositions) to Saturn or Chiron – complicating the ability for the person to access the gift. Usually, it comes to light only AFTER a great struggle or difficult period that has significantly changed the direction of your life and brought you closer to Spirit for help and guidance.
- Many of the placements above that are most powerful fall in the Water signs (Cancer, Pisces or Scorpio) but water is not the only energy that can channel Spirit. The Air signs, too, are very present in charts of people who have major gifts. Aquarius, Gemini and Libra bring the downloads by the truckload and these gifts can show up quickly – a sudden insight or flash of an idea are the little indicators to develop the conversation with Spirit.

I’ve had moments in time when my clairvoyance gifts were quite strong. And then they seemed to dissipate for some reason. It was most likely when I went to graduate school and became an LCSW. I love my work but had to take time off for medical reasons and my clientele took a deep dive. So I am wondering if I can get back into my intuitive side AND support myself too?

You didnt mention anything I have in my chart that I can see Ex Neptune makes 7 aspects in my chart. Pluto 5 aspects. Sun/Mer conjunction is on SNode 2 degrees Moon makes a t square w Uranus and Neptune plus 2 more aspects birthchart 6/16/1955 5:37 A EDT Canton Oh if you want to take a peak. I am an astrologer and I have studied hundreds of charts and read many nany books and gone to astrology conferences over the years. I quit going when they could not teach me anymore. I never thought the chart could show spiritual tendencies. Never really thought about it either. I just accepted the oddities that happened to me sometimes as just part if the package. I was told by an astrologer that the only other person’s chart they had seen w as many aspects to Neptune was Walt Disney. That’s pretty cool 😎. Anyway, I do enjoy your daily and have watched some of your podcasts.
