What is no one talking about right now in Astrology?

I’m talking about: the New Moon in VIRGO.

That’s right! What an exciting opportunity!

Oh wait…you think a Virgo New Moon is BORING? It’s tooooo practical, you say? It’s too controlling and very annoying with all those details? What if I told you there are TWO New Moons in Virgo this year…as we head into eclipse season…and they are both saying get it together. Be prepared with a detailed plan for your manifestation or the train may leave the station without you.

The FIRST New Moon in Virgo in August (yup, Virgo gets a New Moon each year, just like all the signs) on August 22 is special for one reason: it’s precisely at 0 degrees. That doesn’t excite you, you say? Well, maybe this will. The 0 degree point in any sign is karmic and extremely powerful. It’s PURE energy of that sign, so the Moon & Sun – two of the most dynamic players in our personal Astrology, are about to give us a piece of their minds.

For the Sun and Moon to be expressing through PURE Virgo energy is to suddenly be snapped to attention and be ready to go at a moment’s notice. You better have a plan at the ready because as you’re dreamily doodling about this direction or that for your new idea, the other fella is already out the door and running with his idea. Get moving on that intuitive hit or dream you’ve been wanting to implement. Virgo energy at 0 degrees is one of the most powerful get off you’re a$$ and get cracking energies you’re going to find. You may think this hit the ground running energy is going to wane over the next month, but you’d be wrong about that.

The SECOND New Moon we have (the one in September) is ALSO in Virgo, but this time, the Moon and the Sun conjunct at 29 degrees on September 21. If that 29 degrees rings a bell, you’ve guessed correctly: this is also a super Karmic degree, known as the Anaretic Degree. This Degree in astrology (in transit or natal position) means a critical point of completion and transformation. It’s incredibly intense (in a different way than the 0 degree is – pure energy of the sign) and is often associated with karmic lessons and finality. It’s likely the 29^th degree in this New Moon in Virgo will put the final seal on your plan and help you get on your way. That’s because Virgo values a well-thought out plan. As they say: the Devil is in the details, so if you haven’t thought something through, that’s too bad because there’s no going back now.

Now, this second New Moon in Virgo is not only karmic due to the 29^th degree placement but it’s a partial solar eclipse. This heightened energy emphasizes practicality & precision of the plan (it can’t be a bunch of wishful thinking, fairy dust and unicorns…no) and a thought out plan of execution. To go even deeper, look back to March 29^th and the solar eclipse that happened then…what were the themes that were active in your life at that time? This will be a continuation of those experiences. The look back at what happened then might give you some clues as to what will be on the test this time so you can start studying and planning right away.

So – my advice to you as we now have a good few days to prepare for this wind tunnel of a New Moon to New Moon in powerful, pure energy and karmic degrees, is to think it through right now. Go deep. You may just have some vague notion and it’s not really a plan at all so time to flesh it out….or flush it. This time in August is giving us the chance to rehearse for our new manifestation before it arrives. Because when the New Moon in Virgo comes on August 22 and then again on September 21, you better have the t’s crossed and the I’s dotted or
prepare for this powerhouse manifestation time to leave the station without you.
